Island resorts invert the usual logistics problem. The final leg is by barge or landing craft, on a tide and weather window, with lifting constraints at both ends — which means packing, crate dimensions and delivery order have to be designed at the factory, not improvised at the shoreline.
The marine environment then governs the specification. Salt air, direct UV and high humidity rule out ordinary contract-grade hardware, so exposed and semi-exposed items are specified in marine-grade stainless, powder-coated aluminium, teak or solution-dyed acrylics — and the sustainability targets these destinations set apply to every one of those choices.

By sea for the final leg. We plan crate sizes to the vessel and the lifting equipment available, sequence loads by building rather than by supplier, and schedule installation crews to each landing.
